Matt Pattinson's robot's take over - NOW ONLINE
We are chuffed to have the work of Matt Pattinson in our latest exhibition. It's seems he's coming to the fore at the moment, so we are happy to have him on board.
Matt first came to our attention when we heard that a dear friend of Ink-dot, Stuart Give Up Art was using a hot new illustrator for his design of the cover of the new Horsepower album on Tempa recordings. We know Stuart wouldn't use anyone no good, so were very keen to see what was coming. The cover illustration on 'Quest for the sonic bounty' is as heavy as the bass on the vinyl.
Stuart put us in touch with Matt, who loved the sound of our show and blessed us with his entry, which was selected to appear in the final show. The piece looks great and is one of our few full bleed prints - the bright yellow goes all the way to the paper edge.
AND THEN... we get more blessings from Matt, as he tells us he's made an alternate entry for the show, and would we be interested in selling it... And it's as sweet as his original entry - you can see it on the right of the page in the middle. We are really enjoying his high-tech look, mixed with hand-drawn styling.
So we are excited to be stocking both images of Matt's in our shop... The perfect present for the dubstep lover in your life.... : )
